Colour8 introduces a series called Murmurations. The first of these releases are two tracks of bass-heavy beat-dreamers from CJ Mirra. Opener "Young Macaw" channels the saturated, melodic beat-driven works of Jon Hopkins or Moderat and is followed by the raw, overdriven drum machines and pure-tone synth hooks of "Primary Cascade".

The title track comes with a text adventure video (directed by CJ Mirra and EGB7) that spells out the journey of a teenage kid who has developed the capacity to fly. The story unfolds, one word at a time, set to the music and laid on beautifully shot, abstract visual backdrops.
